Braxtyn Husbands

Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my shop! My name is Braxtyn Husbands and I am the artist behind all that you see! I do have to tell you, my journey as an artist is quite special to me.

It all began when I was about 16 years old where I came to a point in my life where I felt lost in my identity. Through introspection, I learned that I was doing things for the approval of others. It was this moment of realization that changed my life. I then made it my mission to discover what it was that I wanted for myself and what made me happy.

I got very curious and decided to explore my talents in attempts to find what brings me joy. I bought some paints, brushes and a cheap canvas from the Dollar Store and painted what came to mind. I developed a passion for painting and went on to start a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts; Painting and Drawing however, transferred and completed my degree in Psychology. Although this degree landed me a full time job, my real passion was always with my art. 

My other hobbies include listening to music, being in nature, having heartfelt conversations and dancing like nobody's watching!

As I continue to explore my skills, challenge and learn more about myself, I thank you for showing interest in my art and hope to make something for you one day! <3
